VINYASA KRAMA

MEDITATION IN MOVEMENT

Vinyāsa krama is a dynamic yoga practice that combines fluid movement, mindful breathing, and systematic sequencing of postures. It develops stability, flexibility, strength and focus, creating a state of meditation in movement.

Follow the breath

Vinyāsa Krama is a dynamic and transformative yoga practice that harmonizes fluid movement with mindful breathing and intentional sequencing of postures. Each movement is carefully coordinated with the breath, creating a seamless flow that not only enhances physical endurance but also deepens the connection between body and mind. The systematic sequencing of postures is designed to progressively prepare the body and mind, ensuring a balanced and safe practice that meets you where you are, regardless of your experience level.

One of the unique aspects of Vinyāsa Krama is its ability to create a meditative state through movement. As you flow from one posture to the next, your breath becomes an anchor, guiding you into a space of inner calm and mindfulness. This practice helps to quiet the mind, reduce stress, and bring about a profound sense of peace and presence.

Whether you are looking to build physical strength, improve flexibility, or cultivate mental clarity, Vinyāsa Krama offers a comprehensive path to achieving your goals. It’s a practice that invites you to explore the deeper layers of yoga, where movement becomes meditation and every breath is a step towards greater self-awareness.

Join me in exploring the rich and rewarding practice of Vinyāsa Krama, and discover how this dynamic form of yoga can enhance your overall well-being, both on and off the mat.

What to expect

The class starts with a practice of correct breathing and a short relaxation. After that we will warm up with a set of simple sun salutations and explore how can our breath lead us safely into āsana and help with concentration and correct posture. We will take our time to explore each pose to find the sweet spot between activity and relaxation. The classes are usually very similar to each other to allow students to memorise the sequence and take it home with them.
